Former BDSwiss and SquaredFinancial HR Expert Joins New CFD Broker Kudotrade

Kudotrade has appointed Catharine Ioannou as its new Global Head of Human Resources, the CFD broker announced today (Tuesday). In the new role, she will bring years of experience gained in similar positions at BDSwiss and SquaredFinancial.

Ioannou, who previously held HR leadership positions at popular retail brokerages located in Cyprus, will oversee Kudotrade's global talent strategy and workplace culture initiatives. Her appointment comes as the broker, which operates in over 130 countries, works to scale its operations.

Ioannou began her career in human resources for CFD brokers in 2017 at BDSwiss. Over the next five years, she held roles as Human Resources Officer and later as Global Head of Human Resources. She then spent nearly two years managing HR at SquaredFinancial and is now joining the Kudotrade team.

Expanding Operations

Kudotrade currently maintains a physical presence in three countries and operates with regulatory authorization from the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius. The company offers CFD trading services through multiple entities registered in various jurisdictions, including Mauritius, Saint Lucia, and Cyprus.

The Kudotrade brand was only established in 2024, but it has recently recruited several experienced CFD experts based in Cyprus. In October, Konstantinos Chrysikos joined the company after previously working for CAPEX.com; he now serves as Director and Head of Customer Relations.

Marc Olivier also made the move to Kudotrade from Amana Capital and Zenfinex. For nearly a year, he has held the position of Head of Brokerage.
