Former ADSS CEO Philippe Ghanem Becomes Executive Chairman at SquaredFinancial
- The industry veteran and entrepreneur re-joins the Cyprus-based financial services firm this month
Philippe Ghanem, known as an innovator and visionary in global financial markets, has become Chairman at SquaredFinancial, according to market sources.
Ghanem co-founded the SquaredFinancial Group in 2005, building it into a well-respected investment and wealth management firm, before stepping back to set-up new ventures.
He is now re-joining as Executive Chairman to take the company through the next stage of its development.
Over a period of 20 years, Ghanem has developed and launched a number of retail and institutional trading firms, including Abu Dhabi-based financial brokerage ADSS, where was Vice Chairman and CEO. He left his role in 2019.
SquaredFinancial combines financial market expertise with dedicated customer support and offers traders and professional investors a flexible technology backed solution. The firm centers its offering around Metatrader 4.

Alongside Ghanem, other former ADSS executives have just recently taken up new roles at SquaredFinancial.
Husam Al Kurdi became CEO at the firm last month. He was Head of Product Management and Business Transformation at ADSS before.
In early April, Manie van Rooyen joined the company as COO. Van Rooyen previously worked as a Senior Director of Treasury and Operations at ADDS. He had spent almost nine years at the firm.
Wallis Saba, who was Group Head of Human Capital at ADSS, started serving as a Chief Human Resources Officer at Squared Financial in January this year.
