Exclusive: FX Expert Joins UAE's Century Financial as Chief Product Officer

Century Financial, a United Arab Emirates-based investment services company, strengthened its management with the appointment of Ulas Akincilar as the new Chief Product Officer, Finance Magnates learned exclusively. Coming from the forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) industry, he has already assumed his new role.

Many Responsibilities in the New Role

Based in the Dubai offices, Akincilar will oversee the company’s product innovation and operations, along with platform enhancement. His responsibilities include driving the development of innovative products, leveraging cutting-edge technology, and staying attuned to market trends to enhance Century Financial's offerings.

He will further focus on the company’s trading platforms, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for clients.

“His extensive experience in the global FX and trading technology industry makes him the ideal candidate to lead our product development strategy. String Experience in the FX Industry

Akincilar is a forex industry expert with more than a decade of experience in his new role. Prior to joining Century Financial, he was the Head of Trading and Risk at London-based Infinox Capital where he worked for more than five years. Before that, he spent ten short months in a similar role at House of Borse, which was acquired by UAE’s Noor Capital and rebranded.

He additionally worked at Gold-i, a technology and liquidity provider for the FX/CFDs industry, as a Technical Support Engineer from January 2017 to March 2018. According to his LinkedIn, he started his career in April 2011 as a Currency Strategist and later joined A1 Capital where his last role was as the FX Transactions Director.

He holds a bachelor's degree in geomatics engineering from Istanbul Technical University in Turkey.
