BP Prime has just onboarded more top talent to its team, Finance Magnates has confirmed with the brokerage. The company is joined by veteran foreign exchange industry figure Marco Baggioli. He is joining the Board of Directors of BP Prime as a Non-Executive Director.
Over the years, Baggioli has been with several companies from the FX industry, with his most recent position as Chief Operating Officer at ADS Securities ending late last year. He has also been working with the Global Financial Markets Association (GFMA) & Forex Clear.
Before ADS, Baggioli spent a considerable time working at major prime brokers in the FX industry. His most recent role at BNP Paribas was as Global Head of the FX prime brokerage. During his vast career in the financial industry, he has also been working at Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and Merrill Lynch.

Commenting to Finance Magnates on his appointment, Baggioli said: “I am delighted to join BP Prime as a Non-Executive Director and bring my experience to the table to support the growth of this young, dynamic company, which has embraced the flow of changes affecting the brokerage industry. BP Prime is very well positioned to benefit from the renewed opportunities this industry presents.”
Baggioli’s hire comes only a couple of weeks after BP Prime refreshed its marketing, operations and sales teams. The firm hired Perry Braun as CMO, Owen Purrsell as Head of Operations and David Herbert-Saez as Global Head of Sales.
Commenting on the hire of a new non-executive director, the CEO of BP Prime, Francesco Porcu, suggested that the move will help guide the strategic future of the business at a time where the market is embracing recent changes.
“Marco joining BP Prime will accelerate our strategic thinking and growth in the marketplace. Our direction is focusing on offering active traders a premium trading experience with premium client service, whilst offering new trading opportunities. Marco will help us deliver this with his decades of forex and trading experience,” Porcu elaborated.
