The move was made public via Shing’s LinkedIn profile, which shows that he joined the company in August of the year and is based in Singapore. He joins the company at the same time as Kelly Yount, who was also appointed as a Sales Director. Instead, she is based in New York.
Shing joins the company, previously known as Fastmatch, after having spent more than six years working at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). As Finance Magnates reported, Euronext rebranded its ECN Fastmatch to Euronext FX, to bring it under its brand identity. As we highlighted at the time, the unification of the FX trading ECN’s name with its parent company is related to Euronext’s forex expansion platform.
Initially, Shing joined RBS in March 2013 and most recently held the position of Head of FX E-Commerce Sales Asia, excluding Japan, his LinkedIn profile states.
