BTIG Onboards Chris Amato as Head of ADR Conversion Trading
- Amato will play a key role in strengthening the firm’s ADR conversion capabilities and expanding its offerings.
BTIG, a financial services firm specialising in institutional trading, investment banking and related brokerage services, today expanded its International Equities Group with the appointment of Chris Amato.
Amato joins as Managing Director and Head of ADR Conversion Trading to build out its ADR Conversion Trading Desk, including a new electronic platform and an expanded high-touch solution.
Chris will play a pivotal role in strengthening our ADR conversion capabilities.

Amato is a seasoned ADR professional with over 20 years of industry experience. He was previously Head of Trading at Citadel Execution Services and prior to that, Director of International Market Making at E*Trade Capital Markets. Earlier in his career, he held similar Head Trader roles at GMST World Markets, International Asset Advisors and Raymond James and Associates.
