Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR) announced the hiring of Simona Vitali, former Chief Operating Officer for Europe at Morrow Sodali, to spearhead the sales operations for its new international issuer services.

In addition to Vitali, Mariana González also joins the team as Sales Director, International Issuer Services. The new hires are aimed at enhancing the company's suite of investor communication tools across Europe.

Broadridge Financial Solutions Bolsters European Sales Force

Vitali brings over two decades of experience in corporate governance, with a particular focus on strengthening ties between institutional investors and publicly listed companies.

In her new role Vitali will lead a newly recruited team of sales executives throughout Europe, expanding Broadridge's reach and impact in the region.

“At a time when companies are prioritising simplicity and effectiveness, I am excited to be joining the Broadridge team dedicated to delivering client-centric solutions that help issuers adapt to an evolving landscape,” Vitali commented.

Maria Siano, the General Manager for International Issuer Services and Head of Strategy for EMEA and APAC at Broadridge, emphasized the critical role Vitali will play in advancing the company's suite of solutions, particularly in investor communications.

“Simona’s 20-year proven track record in corporate governance focused on strengthening the relationships between institutional investors and listed companies will be invaluable,” she added.

González, who has 15 years of experience in corporate banking, working at Royal Bank of Scotland, has also joined the team. Her goal will be to establish new client relationships and drive growth among Broadridge's services.

Less than a month ago, Broadridge expanded its employment in the area of Global Class Action, both in the Canadian and British markets, by acquiring two new Relationship Managers.

Broadridge Investor Insights

The recruitment coincides with the recent launch of Broadridge Investor Insights, an advanced analytics platform that provides issuers with actionable insights into investor behavior and voting patterns. This AI-enhanced dashboard is designed to enable issuers to make well-informed decisions and effectively engage with their audiences.

Moreover, the platform provides advanced tools focused on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors. These include detailed ESG ratings, comparative benchmarking capabilities, and consulting services designed to help optimize ESG approaches and initiatives.

In other developments, the company has announced plans to acquire Kyndryl's Securities Industry Services (SIS) platform, which provides a range of services including settlement , account record keeping, and tax for Canadian financial services firms.

In a separate move, Prometheum Capital has formed a strategic partnership with Broadridge to enhance its post-trade lifecycle and back-office operations. This collaboration comes as Prometheum prepares to launch a comprehensive suite of custody, clearing, and settlement services specifically designed for digital asset securities.
