BATS Global Markets has appointed Chris Concannon as its newest Executive Vice President, transaction services, having ascended to the Executive committee in his new role after a lengthy tenure at Nasdaq.
In his new role at BATS, Mr. Concannon will be based out of New York, where he will report to Joe Ratterman, the CEO of BATS Global Markets. Previously, Mr. Concannon served as the President and COO at Virtu Financial for five years, specializes in liquidity to a variety of asset classes including equities, fixed income, commodities, and FX. Prior to this he worked for six years at Nasdaq.
