After more than four years, Arik Oslerne has parted ways with the Equiti Group. According to a statement provided by the company this Wednesday, his departure was a mutual agreement.

Oslerne originally joined Equiti in April 2015 as an Executive Director and General Counsel. He then went on to be the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the UK with the firm, and most recently, he was the Chief Business Development Officer for the Middle East & Africa region.

When Oslerne originally joined the company, he largely focused on supporting its operations in the UK and its expansion into new regions. Most recently, he has been putting his efforts behind promoting the development of the offices in the Middle East & Africa.

Arik Oslerne Leaves Equiti to Pursue New Opportunities

Oslerne is reportedly leaving the Group to pursue new opportunities. However, what those opportunities are at this point, are unclear.

Commenting on his departure, Oslerne said: “I feel privileged to have been part of Equiti Group’s journey, having ignited transformative change and growth within the Group. As the business continues its successful path, I felt the time was right to pursue another venture.”

During his career, which spans across almost two decades, Oslerne also worked at Alpari (UK) Ltd. He began working with the firm in October of 2011 as the Assistant Head of Legal until he was promoted to the Head of Legal in February of 2014, his LinkedIn states.

“I would like to thank Arik for his significant contribution to the organisation, particularly during a high growth stage. He has been an important part of the Group’s success and a valued member of the executive management team. I wish him the very best in his future endeavours,” added Iskandar Najjar, the Chief Executive Officer of Equiti Group.

Equiti Group is the parent company to a network of foreign Exchange (Forex ) and contract-for-difference (CFD) brokers and prime brokerage providers. The Group has locations across the world including London, Dubai, Miami, Amman in Jordan and more.
