The capital markets arm of Abu Dhabi Financial Group (ADFG), Integrated Capital, announced that Dr Saleh Al Hashemi has been named as its new managing director and chief executive officer (CEO).
In addition to his new multi-focused role, effective this month, Dr. Al Hashemi will also be joining Integrated Securities as its newest chairman.
Abu Dhabi Financial Group (ADFG) is a multi-billion-dollar privately-owned investment management firm which operates through six subsidiaries: Abu Dhabi Capital Management (ADCM); Integrated Alternative Finance (IAF); Spadille Limited; Integrated Capital (IC); Integrated Securities (IS); and Qannas Investments Limited (QIL).
The group’s operations encompass alternative investments, asset management, advisory and research, financing and structuring solutions, securities trading, and real estate development.
Al Hashemi was previously executive director of Infrastructure and Environment at the General Secretariat of Abu Dhabi’s Executive Council, a statement said. He brings extensive experience from working in senior leadership positions across businesses, government, and academia. Dr. Al Hashemi holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University in the United States.
Announcing the appointment, Jassim Alseddiqi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Financial Group, said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Saleh Al Hashemi. He brings extensive experience and expertise from holding key positions within the business, academic and government sectors, and has the calibre to reinforce the status of Integrated Capital and Integrates Securities as leaders within the region’s financial services industry.”
