Mohammed Omayer has been promoted to Head of Compliance at Kama Capital. He shared the news of his new position on LinkedIn today (Monday).

In the post, he wrote: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Compliance at Kama Capital.”

Omayer Appointed Kama Capital Compliance Head

Prior to this appointment, Omayer served as a Compliance Officer at Kama Capital for over a year. During this time, he worked on compliance management systems, anti-money laundering, and financial regulation . His expertise extends to project management and foreign exchange trading.

Omayer’s career spans various roles in the compliance sector. He was the Founder and Director of Chateau de Pile (MOVS SARL) in France for nearly three years. Before that, he spent over four years as the Head of Compliance and MLRO at Global Market Index Limited in London, where he oversaw regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering measures.

Veteran Compliance Officer Takes Leadership

Earlier in his career, Omayer held compliance roles at Monex Europe and GKFX. His responsibilities included developing global compliance policies, delivering training on regulatory changes, and liaising with national regulatory bodies.

Kama Capital Names New Deputy CEO to Drive Expansion

Meanwhile, Kama Capital has appointed Razan Assaf as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. She has been with the company since its beginning, playing a role in shaping its regulatory and operational processes, as reported by Finance Magnates. Her work in compliance was key to obtaining regulatory licenses, which facilitated the company’s expansion.

Additionally, she contributed to the development of Kama Capital’s fintech solutions, including AI-powered algo-trading technology. In her new position, she will focus on strengthening the company’s market presence, expanding fintech capabilities, and exploring new market opportunities. She will also work to enhance existing fintech solutions as part of the company's efforts to expand globally.
