Intertrader, a spread betting and CFD provider, has added Head of Public Affairs to the job description of Louisa Plaice who has been its Head of Marketing since January last year.

Plaice announced her expanded job description on Monday on LinkedIn. However, her profile on the professional networking platform shows that she took on the double role, Head of Marketing & Public Affairs, in December 2022.

The executive, who boasts 15 years of marketing experience, joined Intertrader in July 2019 as an Event Manager. She would go on to become Marketing Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in January 2020. She fulfilled the duties of the role until January 2022 when she became Intertrader’s Head of Marketing.

Marketing Journey of Louisa Plaice

Plaice joined Intertrader from Equifax, a US consumer credit reporting agency, where she spent six and a half years in various capacities, including as the Senior Events Manager and as a Marketing Executive.

Outside of the financial industry, Plaice spent 10 months at Gap Inc., an American retail clothing brand, where she worked as a Marketing Assistant in a London-based role. Between September 2010 and July 2011, the executive also worked as an Events Executive for Du, a Dubai-based telecommunications service provider.

Furthermore, Plaice spent a short stint at Platinum Vision as a PR Executive. On top of that, she worked as a Marketing Executive at ExecuJet Aviation Group for eight months from January 2009.

In one of her earliest roles, Plaice worked for over three years as a Marketing Executive at Jane Norman, a defunct United Kingdom-based women's clothing retailer.

Meanwhile, Finance Magnates reports that a number of executives across the forex, crypto and fintech industries announced taking up new roles at various organizations last week. These include Michael Oxlade at CGS-CIMB Securities, Andreas Lambrou at Novustrader, Juan Moriano at Admirals, William Klippel at Zero Hash and Julián Gay at OneZero, among others.
