"I have been fortunate to be part of global financial firms for many years now, serving in various executive positions. By identifying the need for traders to gain access to capital, Novustrader was created to fill that gap. It gives the opportunity to traders to gain access to capital without risking substantial amounts from their side," he wrote in a Linkedin post.

Prop trading firms allow expert investors to trade with the company's funds and usually share the profits. Such services are beneficial to traders as they can access large capital and do not have to risk personal funds. Novustrader offers up to $500,000 in trading capital to traders and shares 75 percent of the profits.

"Our company's mission is to give the opportunity to ordinary people to become successful traders and help professional traders achieve their targets," Lambrou added. "We have created something new, modern, and novel, 'novus' as our name says."

Andreas Lambrou Comes with Solid Industry Experience

Lambrou is a well-experienced executive in the financial industry and has spent the last 14 years of his career working in the finance and accounting departments of several companies.

In continuation with his role at Novustrader, he will stay on as a Non-Executive Director at Athlos Capital, a CySEC-registered company specializing in the trading of fixed-income instruments.

Before joining the prop trading company, he was an Executive Director and Group CFO at Key Way Group, which operates the retail brokerage brand CAPEX.com, for a year. Additionally, he was the Group Head of Finance and Accounting at HF Markets for over five years. During this time, he held the position of Executive Director at the DFSA and FSC licensed subsidiaries.

He started his career outside the trading industry in mid-2008. He first joined the Cypriot division of Deloitte, then moved to SELCO, a Danish electrical and electronic equipment manufacturer, and moved on to work at the Cypriot retail chain, Ermes, as a Financial Accounting Manager.
