Andreas Andreou, the Head of Business Development at HF Markets’ subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has been hired by global broker
BDSwiss as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in Cyprus.
Andreou, who brings over two decades of experience to the new position, announced his new role on Wednesday on LinkedIn. The executive left HF Markets last month after a year and three
months in a role based in Dubai. However, he has been in HF Markets, which rebranded from HotForex in May last year, for much longer.
Andreou’s Career Journey So Far
Andreou joined HF Markets in October 2014 as the Global Office Liaison
Executive in Cyprus and became the Head of Business Development in about six
years. He held the executive post for over a year and a half before joining the
broker’s Dubai office in the same capacity.
However, beyond HF Markets, the new BDSwiss CCO has worked for Cyprus-based brokers, IronFX and FXGM. While he served as an Institutional Account
Manager at IronFX for eight months in 2013, he also worked at FXGM
where he was a Sales Executive for 18 months between August 2011 and
January 2013.
Andreou spent most of his career at Azira Trading
Limited, a company registered in Cyprus, where he worked for over a decade from August 1999.
