Barchart Appoints Three New C-Level Executives, Hires Head of Commodity Sales

Barchart, a market data and technology provider, has announced several updates to its executive leadership team. Mike Ehrenberg has been promoted to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chris Harrison to Chief Product Officer (CPO), and Colleen Sheeren to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The company also welcomed Andrew Ward as its new Head of Commodity Sales.

Barchart Announces Key Leadership Promotions

In his CTO role, Ehrenberg will lead Barchart's engineers and tech staff to build next-generation trading and risk analysis platforms. Harrison will now head product management, including the flagship “cmdtyView” ecosystem for commodity workflows. As CMO, Sheeren will oversee marketing strategy and branding efforts.

Mark Haraburda, the CEO of Barchart commented that the promotions of Ehrenberg, Harrison, and Sheeren are "rewarding for them professionally, well-deserved and great for Barchart." He said that they have helped shape Barchart's technology, products, data solutions and reach across finance, media and commodities.

Harrison joined the company in 2018, Ehrenberg has been associated with it since 2011, and Sheeren since 2015.

New Hire

"We are excited to welcome Andrew to Barchart to lead our commodity sales team," Haraburda added about the new Head of Commodity Sales appointment. He noted that Ward's experience in trading, risk management , and software will benefit the company.

As Head of Commodity Sales, Ward will drive sales of Barchart's data tools and solutions for commodity businesses. His past roles were at Macquarie Group, JP Morgan and Refinitv.

Barchart provides data, software and technology to financial, media and commodity companies worldwide. The leadership changes aim to spur continued growth across its range of solutions.
