Johny Giacaman has started a new role as Chief Business Operations Officer at MultiBank Group. The appointment is part of a series of senior hires, including Dana Massey as Chief Product and Growth Officer, reflecting adjustments to the leadership team as the firm expands in the Middle East.
Giacaman will oversee business operations across the group. The move marks his return to MultiBank Group, where he previously held a senior executive role.
From ATFX to MultiBank Leadership Roles
Before rejoining MultiBank, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at ATFX MENA for one year and six months, based in Dubai, responsible for marketing strategy and regional brand development. Prior to that, he was Chief Marketing Officer at naqdiglobal for one year and two months, also in Dubai, focusing on marketing strategy, brand positioning, and customer engagement.

Giacaman previously worked at MultiBank Group as Group Chief Marketing Officer and Advisor to the Chairman for just over two years, leading global marketing operations, managing cross-functional teams, overseeing marketing budgets, and coordinating with sales and operations.
Earlier in his career, he was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Shock Middle East, where he also served as a board director for nearly four years in the United Arab Emirates.
Expanded into Abu Dhabi and Launched MEX Digital FZE
Alongside leadership changes, the firm has expanded its regional presence. Earlier, it opened a new office in Abu Dhabi to support retail and institutional clients with local assistance, relationship management, and faster onboarding, providing more direct market access in the UAE capital.
The group also previously launched MEX Digital FZE in the UAE. Licensed by the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, the subsidiary operates as a broker-dealer and virtual asset exchange under the MultiBank.io brand, excluding derivatives.
