The “Love Button for the Internet”, ChangeTip, is now available on Google Plus, Tumblr and Youtube.
ChangeTip gives users the ability to monetarily vent their appreciation for content they like on social media forums.
The tool has already been available on Github, Reddit, StockTwits and Twitter. Facebook is currently in beta and 20 other social media venues are under consideration with input from the public.

Each venue has its own process for tipping, which is enabled when users are logged in. One of the unique steps common to all is the free text entry of your tip and appreciation e.g. “Great shot, @amazingphotos! I always love the pictures you post. Have a beer on me! @changetip“.
The bot recognizes the text and sends the appropriate tip from your account. 10 denominations of fiat are available, which are then converted to digital currency for sending. The maximum tip size is $25, which may conveniently circumvent the need for money licensing registration and know-your-customer (KYC) formalities in many jurisdictions.
DC Magnates reached out to ChangeTip on areas such as security and future opportunities for innovation, but has not yet received a response as of press time.
