So you want a pair of Google Glasses, who doesn’t want to check out what they are all about? While technically Google prohibits developers from selling them, they have been hitting the market in limited quantities. The newest location is on BitPremier. The luxury goods Bitcoin marketplace has announced that a pair is being offered for sale for 101.355 BTC ($7500). The seller added that they are the ‘Explorer Edition’ and includes two sets of shades and has received the most recent XE7 update which provides Google Glasses with a working web browser.

Also added by the seller is a link to a recent CNET article about selling Google Glasses, where a Google representative answered CNET that they won’t ‘brick’ any sold glasses. Regardless of Google’s view on developers selling the product, one’s got to think that in this case Google would probably let it slide. For one, the #ifihadglass campaign was all about unique ways Google glass would be used; selling them for bitcoins fits that category. Second, coins for glass can further the technological innovation of both items as it bridges the user groups of the two products and who are both highly involved in expanding the user cases of bitcoins and Google Glass.

Also getting offering on BitPremier is ‘Casa x bitcoins’, a luxury home in Spain. Selling for a cool 17,000+ BTC ($1.265 million), the 2800 sq ft, four floor home is described as a “Unique, an oasis of green and wellness in an exclusive location, in the middle of Barcelona, one of the most beautiful, popular and cultural cities of the world, and with a higher quality of life. Capital city of Catalunya, in front of the Mediterranean Sea, and 100 km away from the high peaks of the Pyrinees.”
