  • The tie-up covers spot and perpetual futures, with fee discounts and interest-free lending for market makers.
  • Prices feed a digital-asset interface that was still in demo in June, two years after a Sage Capital deal.

Brokers that license Devexperts' DXtrade platform can now tap KuCoin's spot and perpetual futures liquidity, the software firm said today (Tuesday). The connection runs through KuCoin's Market Maker Support System.

KuCoin is a crypto exchange that says it serves more than 45 million users in over 200 countries. DXtrade's earlier crypto liquidity deal, with market maker Sage Capital Management in June 2024, covered the same two markets.

The new feed supplies prices for a product that has moved out of testing. In June, Devexperts showed a dedicated crypto front-end for DXtrade that was still in demo.

Today's release describes that interface as newly launched, with an exchange-style order book and orders sized by coin amount, quote-currency value or share of available funds.

What KuCoin Offers Market Makers

The program pairs trading incentives for institutional market makers with funding and technical support. According to KuCoin, participants get special fee rates and reward schemes for USDC pairs, newly listed futures pairs, and over-the-counter (OTC) and fiat markets.

KuCoin also lists interest-free OTC lending, a single account with cross-currency margin, and matching latency as low as three milliseconds.

Damien Jusic, who handles institutional liquidity and partnerships at KuCoin, said the tie-up would help KuCoin "connect with new audiences."

Those audiences are brokers' clients. In January 2025, KuCoin's operator pleaded guilty in a US court to running an unlicensed money transmitting business, agreed to pay about $297.4 million and committed to leave the US market for at least two years.

KuCoin is the latest in a run of outside services Devexperts has attached to DXtrade this year. By the time it added DDXpro to the platform in May, DXtrade had already taken on liquidity from Advanced Markets and tools from Gold-i, TRAction and theScreener.

Borislav Alendarov, head of trading operations at Devexperts, called such integrations "central to our philosophy."

Spotware's cTrader and Match-Trade Technologies' Match-Trader also sell white-label platforms with crypto trading to brokers, and interest in the vendors dipped over the summer.

Organic visits to DXtrade's website fell 23.5% in the third quarter from the second, close to the 22.7% quarter-on-quarter drop for cTrader, FM Intelligence's platform comparison shows.

Devexperts is also taking DXtrade into new markets. After Indonesia's commodity futures regulator cleared DXtrade in August, Devexperts said it would seek approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), which supervises the country's crypto market.
