CySEC Slams Binary Options Platform Operator with €300,000 Fine
The Cyprus market regulator finds Pegase Capital in breach of numerous regulations

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission fined Pegase Capital Ltd., a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) €300,000 for breaches of various regulations pertaining to money laundering, terrorist financing, as well as the provision of investment services in general.
Major Clampdown on Violators
Pegase Capital is the company behind venues including Interactive Option, HelloBrokers and MTXPlus. It is one of five such companies, fines against which CySEC announced today. The decision to impose the penalties was taken on October 12 by the regulator’s board.

The biggest fine in the series was levied against the operator of EZ Trader, WGM Services, at €340,000. It also reached a €335,000 settlement with IronFX.
