Ming is the founder of a global permissionless perpetual futures exchange, focused on delivering better trading, transparency, and efficiency through low-latency blockchain infrastructure. He began his career in traditional finance as a programmatic trader at a major Wall Street bank and an options market maker at a high-frequency firm. With a double honors degree in Actuarial Science and Economics from ANU, he pivoted from a traditional actuarial path to pursue his passion for trading. He’s built systems at the intersection of high-frequency trading and crypto, specializing in risk models, real-time infra, and fault-tolerant design. Ming is a vocal advocate for DeFi and the future of perpetual futures as a next-gen derivatives class.
