IG Group Holdings Appoints Deloitte’s Mark Ward as Interim CFO
- IG Group Holdings has on-boarded Deloitte partner Mark Ward to run its financials as it continues looking for a permanent CFO.
Online financial trading giant IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG) has unveiled this morning that the company has on-boarded a new interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The brokerage has tabbed Mark Ward, a Senior Partner at Deloitte, to take charge of the company’s financials from the 25th of January.
IG Group Holdings (LON:IGG) will continue looking for a permanent candidate for the position and expects Mark Ward to remain in the chair until a candidate is found. The Senior Partner at Deloitte has worked in banking, insurance and asset management for the past 25 years and is bringing a raft of experience into the company.
Mark Ward will report directly to the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Hetherington. As an interim hire, he will not be a director of IG Group Holdings, nor a Board member.
Mark has been leading Deloitte’s UK investment management practice and has been serving as the head of the investment management audit group.
