"With a growing number of clients, we felt it necessary to thank them for their loyalty"

HQ Language Services provides financial translations for the banking, forex, economics and insurance industries. Since its inception in 2000, its team of professionals have translated more than 64 million words. At the helm of this ship is Consuelo Speranza the Founder and CEO. Finance Magnates sat down with Speranza to learn more about the firm and its recently launched website - The Diary of a Trader.
Firstly, can you tell us more about HQ Language Services?
One development, which we are particularly proud of this year, is the launch of our new website - The Diary of a Trader. This educational website is part of our newly launched Rewards Program.
With a growing number of clients choosing HQ Language Services as a partner we felt it necessary to thank them for their loyalty.
As a result, we have introduced two rewards: the first one consisting of a monthly 20,000 words HQ English proofreading service at 0.01 cent per word for all our clients, regardless of how long our collaboration has been or the monthly amount spent on translation services, and the second one being free advertising on www.thediaryofatrader.com, our newly launched educational website.
Both of these services are unique, as we are the only translation service that we are aware of, that rewards its clients and we hope to develop further initiatives like this in the future.
What is The Diary of a Trader?
The Diary of a Trader is an educational website which aims to help traders make smart decisions and as a result, increase their returns. We post five different types of content - educational videos, quizzes, deals (of the day, week and month), insights into what large financial institutions are doing and practical education which covers how to open an account, what difficulties you may have with a broker, what to do when you lose money, etc.
Since launching the website just three months ago we have seen a really positive response. It already has had almost two thousand visitors per day and we have received more than 4,000 subscribers on YouTube. The site has also been featured on major media platforms like CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC, PBS, MSNBC, TELEMUNDO and WORLD FINANCE.
We plan to expand the websites reach even further by using our new SEO services. We have already used these services to improve our ranking on Google, reaching a top position on the search engine in the last three months. As a result, we also aim to increase the exposure of our clients that are advertising their products and services on the website.
Do you plan on introducing more products in the future?
Yes, in the near future HQ Language Services is aiming to expand the scope of its services. Besides the the products I have mentioned above, we also plan to introduce multimedia services to our clients. This will include things such as video analysis and production, dubbing, subtitling, graphic design, social network management, software and app development and more.
