    Hotspot FX an ECN provider announces strong monthly trade figures for June 2012, the figures are in line with other major ECN's such as FXall.

    Hotspot FX volumes in June and Q2 2012 continued to be in line with industry trends, posting month-over month increases and a year-over-year contraction. Average Daily Volume (ADV) increased 10.8% in June 2012 from May and 1.1% in Q2 2012 from Q1. Among publicly reported spot FX volumes (Hotspot FX, ICAP/EBS, Reuters, FXall), Hotspot FX’s market share was 9.4% in June 2012 and 8.9% for Q2 2012.

    In June 2012, the ranking of the Top 10 pairs remained largely consistent with the prior month and minimal changes in market share occurred. Of these pairs, most notable volume fluctuations occurred in AUD/JPY (-1.17%) and USD/JPY (+.98%). Volume decreased in most of the bottom 10 performing pairs, with the exception of the most recent entrants into our Top 20, GBP/AUD and USD/SEK. Both had a significant uptick in volume (+.30% and +.14% respectively) to become our 13th and 19th most active pairs. USD/ZAR and USD/RUB fell out of the Top 20 listing.
