BT Radianz has launched a new integrated voice solution to its cloud community. The solution integrates fixed-line and mobile phone calls thus reducing costs and removing the need for separate networks for member firms.
BT Radianz has launched a new integrated solution for firms operating in the financial and capital markets landscape. The firm reported that, BT One Voice Radianz, its new voice solution, is a cost-effective add-on to the existing Cloud community. The move comes on the back of a number of developments BT has scheduled for the community.
The new voice solution is based on the existing infrastructure of BT Radianz and aims to unify costs and workflows for firms. It's the first time BT is connecting products from its mainstream BT Global Services to the BT Radianz Cloud network.
Firms who sign up for the voice solution will no longer require separate connections for their unified communication services at sites connected to Radianz Cloud, this will directly affect the bottom line by reducing capital and operating costs.

Tom Regent, President, Global Banking & Financial Markets at BT commented about the launch in a statement, he said: “The BT Radianz Cloud is the world’s largest secure networked community for the financial services industry. An innovative cloud service in its own right, it has developed a reputation for being the platform of choice for financial markets customers to access thousands of applications from BT and more than 400 independent third-party providers across the entire trade cycle.
It’s important that we continue to innovate to help financial markets firms improve their agility as they strive to increase revenues, reduce costs and improve service to their customers. That’s why we continue to invest in our portfolio and enhance the services we provide to the BT Radianz Cloud community."
In addition, One Voice Radianz will be available on BT’s Unified Trading, a software-based cloud-compatible multimedia and voice collaboration solution, which includes BT Netrix trading turrets. One Voice Radianz will enable traders to make everyday business calls from Netrix turrets.
“In increasingly globalised financial markets, staying connected is critical to remaining competitive. Market participants around the world need a communication infrastructure that helps them make faster and more informed decisions. With integrated voice and data solutions such as BT One Voice Radianz, financial firms can Leverage the combination of services for faster deployments and savings on international voice and data services,” explained Bill Fearnley Jr., senior analyst at Celent in the media briefing.
BT Radianz’s solutions are paramount for low latency electronic trading; the community is one of the largest in the world for players in financial trading. BT Radianz has been used by several firms in the FX markets; in 2007 the firm reported that Logiscope deployed its hosted solution to connect with players.
