StockTwits, the New York-based social trading network which operates a Twitter-like service for traders and investors, has inked a partnership with Trading Ticket, Inc. to integrate its mobile trading technology TradeIt.
StockTwits’s investing and trader community is now able to tap TradeIt which facilitates direct trading orders via their existing brokerage account from mobile devices.
Using TradeIt is as simple as clicking on a company name or special short URL to create an instant order ticket through which the trader’s brokerage account is accessed and trading order is placed.

With about 1.5 million monthly active users, StockTwits hopes that onboarding TradeIt to its platform can enhance the offering and allow them continue to provide value to investment firms which pay to leverage StockTwits’ API.
Ian Rosen, CEO of StockTwits, Inc., commented: “Our community lives on StockTwits, spending over 50 minutes per day, so it is only natural that they want to execute trades from our platform. We’ve had so much success with our Robinhood integration that we are excited to get more brokerages used by our community connected.”
Nathan Richardson, co-founder and CEO of TradeIt, added: “TradeIt is supporting retail investors in an increasingly distributed ecosystem allowing them to trade conveniently on-the-go, wherever they are. Partnering with StockTwits will enable thousands of people to use our innovative trading technology to execute their trades securely, safely, quickly and efficiently. Through our technology, any financial app can link to their users’ brokerage accounts so that they’re able to view, trade and manage their accounts with any US broker.”
