Mobile Trading Partners (MTP) today announced its new Web Trader product at the FM London Summit. The MTP Web Trader will be released to its first broker clients in January 2017 – MTP's first sales contract including this product was signed in the days before the Summit.

MTP Web Trader is a Multi-Asset Web Trader UI that is integrated with MTP's Charts and Trading gateway and is feature-compatible with the MTP Mobile Trading apps, to work with the same range of back-end trading systems.

Functionality

Functionality is derived from MTP’s range of mobile trading apps, including all the same features including watchlists, trade tickets, charts, trade history blotter, fully editable positions and orders lists, all tied together in a customisable drag and drop user interface that is available to be white label branded in the broker’s style and colours.

The Web Trader includes MTP Advanced Charts, available separately or embedded in the Web Trader, which can be integrated with any market data source, and includes comprehensive support for indicators and chart annotations. A trade widget is built into the charts so users can draw order price, stop loss and take profit levels directly onto the chart, trading without leaving the chart. These HTML Advanced Charts can be made available independently as a web/charts widget, or be integrated into any other web trader.

MTP will integrate the Web Trader and the (also available stand-alone) trade from charts functionality with the broker’s trading system so that all these features are available to clients. MTP HTML Web Trader and charts are web and tablet-friendly. MTP can customise the UI as required by their customers.

Mobile apps

Alongside the new Web Trader and charts, MTP already offers a full set of native iOS and Android (not HTML) charting solutions with indicators for embedding in mobile apps. MTP also provide a complete Cloud infrastructure and charts database service, live and in daily use since 2012, to clients who use its charting solutions. The HTML charts are also available as a plug-in to the Star Financial Systems web trader, and are in daily use by clients.
