HUBECN engine’s adoption of the MT5 FIX Bridge will greatly expand the amount of liquidity providers that brokers can connect to. This will help brokers not only aggregate quotes but also enable the routing of orders according to the Best Bid and Offer (BBO) rules. The initiative has also transpired during a gradual industry shift towards the MT5 platform and its accompanying framework. Up until now, HUBECN only supported MT4 functionality, including the MT4 FIX Bridge.

Indeed, HUBECN decision to support MT5 FIX Bridge is a further nod to the growing market penetration of the platform, which has secured an uptick in use amongst retail brokerages over the past six months. This has in turn been facilitated by a push from MetaQuotes itself, which has sought to roll out multiple incentives, updates, and builds in H1.

The extension is also important to brokers as they can tap into a list of leading liquidity providers, including such names as Currenex, Integral, Hotspot, LMAX, CFH, SwissQuote Bank, ADS Securities, Sucden Financial, Advanced Markets, FXCM, TopFX, Think Markets and other groups.

Moreover, institutional clients are also eligible to set any instruments offered by liquidity providers, including such asset classes as FX, stocks, futures, Cryptocurrencies , and derivatives. HUBECN’s newly enhanced bridge will also utilize the standard MT5 Gateway API, as well as a selection of other functions. This includes a price feeder that sends the depth of market directly to the MT5 server, as well as an order module that forwards MT5 orders to HUBECN’s core engine.

Dmitry Batashvili, CEO of HUBECN LLC, commented on the release: "Any type of liquidity provider including financial exchanges is configurable in the HUBECN gateway for MetaTrader 5. This innovation allows us to provide brokers with leading technologies for connecting to global liquidity.”

“By doing this, we are following the market efficiency and transparency principles. Considering the continuing expansion of the amount of MetaTrader 5 brokers, we believe the demand from institutional clients will be high,” he added.
