MBT trials their new Web based platform
Aptly named MBT Web, their new platform will allow customers to access their account with their browser of choice. So if you're a Firefox zealot, or a Chrome fan boy, then you can soon choose to do your trading from them.
The easy-to-use interface provides all of the traditional features of MB Trading’s Award-Winning software, while adding additional features like price alerts and allowing customers to bypass firewalls. Track quotes, see a real-time Level 2 for all symbols, and choose from the wide variety of order types that you’ve come to expect from MB Trading.
Indeed, the platform includes all of the functionality of the Desktop Pro software for Stocks, Options, Futures, and Forex Forex Foreign exchange or forex is the act of converting one nation’s currency into another nation’s currency (that possesses a different currency); for example, the converting of British Pounds into US Dollars, and vice versa. So pretty decent in terms of features and functionality. The main thing I'm hoping they can achieve is speed. Unfortunately web based browsers are often considerably slower than their desktop based counterparts, so lets hope MBT can get infuse some rapidness into the equation.
