Japanese binary options client statistics from November are out. During the month, once again, GMO Click Securities and IG Group reported the highest payouts among brokers and the lowest percentage of losing accounts. For GMO Click, the payout ratio was near 100% as it was at 99.63%, slightly below October’s figure of 99.75%. Similarly, at IG Group, overall payouts were near 100% as the ratio rose to 99.10% from 98.10% the previous month.

Overall broker weighted averages (not adjusted for number of clients) during November, payout ratios dropped to 95.23% from 95.69%, but the amount of losing accounts also declined to 73.06% from 74.1%. In terms of other individual brokers, clients at Traders Securities once again suffered the greatest losses as losing accounts reached 82.87% in November. The figures continue to represent that similar to slot machines, binary options is trending towards becoming a low-margin, high volume business, with ultimate broker profits dependent on users being long time users of the product.
