The company’s office is located in the Zahran Plaza Building, in the capital of Jordan, Amman. The company will be offering direct trading services to individuals, companies, and institutions.

The Kingdom of Jordan has a population of about 10 million, in about 2 million households. The capital city of Amman is home to about 4 million, while 84.1 percent of the population live in urban areas.

The market is relatively undeveloped and the position of Equiti as a licensed brokerage is a big competitive advantage when compared to foreign brokers. The local regulator has a good reputation in the region, which could play a role if the subsidiary will be used to target clients from the broader region.

Equiti has been heavily investing in building its retail brand since launching it last year. The company has been committed to the Middle Eastern region with а big operational presence in the UAE.
