CFI Financial Signs TV Presenter Georges Kordahi

CFI Financial Group, a multi-regulated FX and CFDs brokerage firm, announced today that it has signed Lebanese TV presenter, George Kordahi as its Brand Ambassador. The company seeks to raise awareness of online trading through an affiliation with the media celebrity.

While some, out of curiosity, are speculating how much the deal cost CFI Financial, the firm has not revealed an exact figure. Others may wonder at the rationale behind spending big money to sign the ex-host of the Arabic version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, who is widely considered one of the prominent TV presenters in the Arab World.

CFI Financial will definitely use the partnership to raise regional awareness of its online CFD trading services and increase mainstream use of its Trading Platform . The campaign’s motto, 'Empower Yourself', may reflect the nature of this deal.

The partnership is not the first of its kind in the industry, as other high profile media stars have represented retail trading companies in the past. A few years ago, FX broker ForexTime appointed CNBC Arabia anchor, Hussein Sayed to represent the face and voice of FXTM within the MENA and GCC region.

However, sports sponsorships, especially of popular and well-established football clubs and players, are still the preferred marketing strategy by brokers operating in the online retail forex business.

Popular Media Figure Will Be Brand Face in the MENA

By signing the partnership, CFI Financial targets new clientele that are mainly fans of Kordahi, who has been part of the Arab media world for over 40 years. Given the popularity of the famous Middle Eastern TV presenter, the broker aims to achieve better exposure within the Gulf region, where Kordahi has a much higher profile than any other region.

Explaining why they selected Kordahi to be a Brand Ambassador, Hisham Mansour and Eduardo Fakhoury, the Founders and Managing Directors at CFI Financial Group, said: "The partnership with Georges and CFI is an ideal move that will not only spread the CFI name farther but also introduce different concepts to the masses including the importance of investing, financial literacy and Risk Management . Mr Georges' appeal and large audience is a strategic factor that will help CFI further secure its place as one of the leading providers of trading services across the Arab region and the entire world."

"I am very pleased to announce my new partnership with CFI. CFI is a renowned, trusted & respected brand for online trading that has helped thousands of clients access the financial markets for over 22 years with superior services and highly competitive conditions. CFI is a global company with many entities around the world, and I am glad to be associated with them and look forward to a long-term and mutually beneficial relationship," added Kordahi.
