Mr Hughes has been leading the operations of CMC Markets in Singapore since January 2014. He has extensive experience in the industry, working at IG Group and CMC Markets since June 2005. He will be based at ADS Securities’ headquarters in Abu Dhabi and will report directly to the broker’s Managing Director and Global Head of Sales, Mathieu Ghanem.

Commenting on the new talent hire, he said: “Jason is one of the best in the business and will be key in driving further success for ADS Securities across all our markets. The experience he brings will be invaluable in confirming our position as the region’s leading financial services trading firm. He will provide a new perspective and take our private client operations to the next level.”

Hughes has held executive positions at IG Group in Singapore. He was at first Business Development Manager and later Head of Premium Client Management. While at the biggest publicly listed retail brokerage, he was developing a strategy which focused on delivering a quality product to high net worth individuals in the region.

“Investors are becoming increasingly sophisticated and looking for a trading partner who offers them high quality products and exceptional customer service. I wanted to join ADS Securities because it is one of a very small number of brokerages still investing in technology and looking to the future requirements of its clients,” commented Mr Hughes on his appointment.

In recent months ADS Securities has been pooling its resources to acquire new talent. It promoted its top executive Marco Baggioli to Group COO and in June the company was joined by Fabian Chui as Head of Brokerage Risk, right after it hired Nidal Abdelhadi as Head of Institutional Sales.
