The Trading Cup will bring live trading competition to The Trading Festival Mexico 2026, powered by iFX EXPO, on 12–13 November at the World Trade Center Mexico City. Sponsored by The5ers, the two-day tournament will give eligible participants the opportunity to test their strategies in a demo trading environment, compete against other traders and win prizes, including a 100K Challenge.
With two 60-minute rounds scheduled each day, the competition will combine trading on MetaTrader 5 with real-time leaderboards, allowing participants and spectators to follow the standings as the action unfolds. A trading expert will also provide live market commentary throughout the competition, adding further insight to the experience.
Who Can Compete and How It Works
The Trading Cup is open to eligible, verified traders aged 18 or over who are registered for The Trading Festival Mexico and have completed the separate competition registration form. Participants must also create a The5ers account before taking part in the tournament. The competition will take place on-site, and participants should bring their own laptop or mobile phone, with internet access and MetaTrader 5 ready to use. The tournament password will be provided at the venue.

Competitors will select two forex pairs from the available instruments and may switch between them during the competition. Trading strategies are unrestricted, but each participant must use only one trading account throughout the tournament and remain within the maximum drawdown limit of 10%.
Each round provides a fresh opportunity to compete for a place among the top 10. Participants may enter multiple rounds; however, those who win a prize will not be eligible to compete in subsequent rounds.
A 100K Challenge and More Prizes Up for Grabs
The Trading Cup will reward the top 10 participants in each round with the following prizes:
1st place: 100K Challenge
2nd place: 25K Challenge
3rd and 4th places: 10K Challenge each
5th place: 5K Challenge
6th–10th places: 20 Challenge Credits each
The prizes consist of trading Challenges and Challenge Credits rather than cash awards. Participation and prize eligibility are subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Four Live Rounds Across Two Days
The competition will follow the same schedule on both 12 and 13 November, with two 60-minute trading rounds each day:
First round: 13:00–14:00, with introductions beginning at 12:30 and winner announcements from 14:00–14:30.
Second round: 16:00–17:00, with introductions beginning at 15:30 and winner announcements from 17:00–17:30.
As part of The Trading Festival Mexico's wider programme, the Trading Cup will add a competitive element to two days of education, exhibitions and networking, bringing traders together with brokers, prop firms, platforms and other businesses serving the trading community.

Create a The5ers account: Participants who do not already have an account should register with The5ers ahead of the event.
