Tori guides users, answers questions, and offers personalized investment insights.
The company has introduced Alpha Portfolios, AI-powered strategies using retail trading data.
eToro Group Ltd., a trading and investing platform, has
launched new artificial intelligence tools to expand its social investing
offering. The company also introduced a new AI companion named Tori.
The tools aim to give retail traders access to capabilities
that were previously available only to quantitative hedge funds. Key features
include automated trade execution, personalized dashboards, portfolio
optimization, and real-time data integration.
Initial Access for Popular Investors
The tools will initially be offered to eToro’s Popular
Investors—a selected group whose trading strategies can be copied by others on
the platform through eToro’s CopyTrader technology.
Yoni Assia, the CEO of eToro
“This is about more than just AI-generated insights,” said
Yoni Assia, eToro’s Co-founder and CEO. “We’re enabling our Popular Investors
to innovate like top quantitative hedge funds and scale their impact within the
eToro ecosystem.”
Public API Opens Tool Creation
The suite is powered by a public API and includes
agent-based services, customizable apps, and access to eToro’s Model Context
Protocol. These allow Popular Investors to develop algorithms, automate
strategies, run backtests, and create AI-powered tools for community use.
“We are unleashing the true potential of social investing.
eToro becomes an open-garden marketplace built on top of eToro’s new public API
enabling users to build, publish and access customized tools,” Assia added.
The company also introduced Tori, an AI-powered assistant
that interacts with users through natural conversation. It helps them navigate
the platform, understand investments, and access personalized insights.
“Tori, our AI companion, answers questions, surfaces
personalized insights and guides users across the eToro platform,” said Assia.
AI-Driven Alpha Portfolios Debut
In addition, eToro has launched seven AI-driven Alpha
Portfolios under its Smart Portfolio offering. These quant-style strategies are
built using proprietary retail trading data.
“Strategies like these have traditionally been out of reach
for ordinary investors,” Assia said. “Our Alpha Portfolios combine AI with one
of the largest retail trading datasets in the world to provide real, actionable
value to retail investors.”

Altima CTO Sunil Jadhav: Solving Data Fragmentation & Lag for Brokers & Prop Firms
Altima CTO Sunil Jadhav: Solving Data Fragmentation & Lag for Brokers & Prop Firms
Altima CTO Sunil Jadhav sits down with Finance Magnates to discuss the core technology challenges facing CFD brokers and proprietary trading firms today.
Jadhav explains how the industry's reliance on batch processing and fragmented systems (where CRMs, risk tools, and trading platforms operate with separate 'sources of truth') leads to delayed data and inconsistent operational decisions. He argues that real-time event processing is essential for managing fast-moving trading activity and risk.
Learn how Altima's unified, event-driven architecture, connecting Altima CRM, Altima Prop, IB systems, and risk management through a single backbone, is designed to provide synchronous data and better operational coordination for modern brokerage and prop firm stacks.
Key Topics:
- Broker and Prop Firm Data Challenges
- The problem of delayed data processing (batch processing vs. real-time events)
- Fragmented systems and conflicting data sources
- Altima's unified, event-driven solution architecture
- The concept of a "risk-aware CRM"
- Built-in risk management in Altima Prop
