UnionPay International has partnered with Rêv Worldwide to expand its international offerings.
The international division of the Shanghai-based China UnionPay in cooperation with Rêv Worldwide will offer their products to companies and banks interested in prepaid products. Rêv Worldwide is a registered non-bank third party service provider, and will provide global processing platform, prepaid product set, mobile technology and program management services.
UnionPay International will offer its issuer network, Chinese merchant acceptance network and corporate relationships to the partnership.
“Given UnionPay’s history of exponential growth and geographic expansion, we have the opportunity to redefine the prepaid landscape by offering their branded options to banks and other partners looking to capture the category’s increasing opportunity,” John Mitchell, Rêv Worldwide’s CEO.
With over 200 agreements worldwide, UnionPay International’s network can accept cards from 140 different countries. The card network has issued 25 million UnionPay branded cards in over 30 countries and has partnered with more than 60 banks around the world.

Rêv Worldwide is based in Austin Texas and offers integrated services for prepaid travel, mobile, and general-purpose reloadable prepaid debit cards.
Recently UnionPay has partnered with Acculynk to offer China UnionPay card processing through Acculynk’s PIN code protected gateways.
