Payvision now offers JCB through Wing Hang Bank

Global processing company Payvision, has now the ability to offer Japan's International credit card, JCB to its customer base through Wing Hang Bank, one of their Acquiring partners.

The new addition to Payvision’s supported methods of Payments comes through the Chinese bank, Wing Hang Bank, which has started to support the JCB card. The addition of JCB to their already accepted payment methods will allow their merchants to give support to Asia’s growing ecommerce market.

“We are delighted to extend the online acceptance of JCB Card for our partnership with Payvision. We have the confidence that it will bring significant benefits to our merchants, to JCB and also to Payvision”, Wing Hang Bank’s Senior Deputy General Manager and Head of Retail Banking Division, Stephen Wong commented on the new online opportunity.

Willy Kwa Kok Leng, Vice President of Sales in the APAC Region at Payvision, also had this to say on the partnership, “We are excited to add JCB Card processing to our existing portfolio. This marks another milestone in our solid partnership with Wing Hang Bank. We have a large customer base, interested to target the Asian market and with JCB Card in our payment portfolio, we can provide these merchants with ways to expand their footprint into Asia.”

We have seen Asian ecommerce giants expanding out of their region to take a slice of the global pie, but Western companies expanding their presence in the ever expanding Asian market seem to be a bigger challenge that could be soften by this kind of initiatives.
