Optimal Payments appoints former Director of New Jersey DGE as gaming advisor

World leading payment service provider Optimal Payments has appointed the former director of the New Jersey division of Gaming Enforcement

World leading payment service provider Optimal Payments has appointed the former director of the New Jersey division of Gaming Enforcement as its new strategic advisor.

Thomas Auriemma will serve as the advisor for Optimal Payments offices in the US and will provide strategic and regulatory advice on current and future U.S. state regulation in connection with payment solution providers.

Auriemma brings with him over 28 years of experience and is one of the few individuals to serve on both of New Jersey’s gaming enforcement agencies. Between the years 2002 and 2007 Auriemma was the director the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), and afterwards was deputy director of the New Jersey Casino Control Commission’s Legal Division.
