ActivTrades, a London-based forex and contracts for differences broker, has announced senior leadership changes, promoting two long-standing team members to executive positions.
Gurbalov Promoted to Chief Marketing Officer
Danislav Gurbalov has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer. He joined the company in 2022 and most recently served as Head of Marketing Operations for eight months.

Before that, he was Marketing Manager for almost three years and Marketing Project Manager for six months. Earlier, he worked as a Marketing Manager and Copy Consultant at Upwork for more than eight years and as Marketing Project Manager at Econt Express in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Geshev Steps Into Chief Communications Officer Role
Nedko Geshev has been named Chief Communications Officer. He has been with ActivTrades since 2022, starting as a Marketing Project Manager before advancing to Marketing Manager and then Head of Marketing Communications for eight months.
Prior to ActivTrades, he spent more than three years at Mansion Group in Sofia. His roles there included CRM Specialist and Senior CRM Project Specialist. He began his career as a Customer Service Representative.
In a LinkedIn post, Geshev wrote: “Humbled and excited to share some big news – Danislav and I are stepping into C-level roles – Danislav as Chief Marketing Officer and me as Chief Communications Officer.”
ActivTrades Reports 2024 Profit, Revenue Growth, Client Increase
ActivTrades posted a pre-tax profit of £4.6 million in 2024 on £37.6 million revenue, reversing a £7.9 million loss in 2023. Profit after tax reached £4.1 million. The UK remained the largest revenue source at £25.8 million.
The broker added 192,706 potential clients, with 13,285 funding accounts, ending the year with 28,898 active clients. Total deposits fell to £82.8 million, while net deposits rose 14 per cent. Average monthly trading volume declined 37 per cent to $41.1 billion.
