Zenfinex Has Recruited Michel Chabbouh as CEO MENA to Head Its UAE operations

Zenfinex has announced that it has recruited Michel Chabbouh as CEO MENA, effective from January 2022.

In a recent press release shared with Finance Magnates, Michel Chabbouh, a veteran senior executive with more than fourteen years of experience in the fintech industry, has been named by Zenifex, a Retail FX and CFDs broker founded by Nick Cooke, as its new CEO of the MENA region.

Chabbouh brings more than fourteen years of experience in Forex and banking. He will head the company’s UAE-based operations as the new CEO of the MENA region and has relocated to Dubai.

Zenfinex operates offshore operations in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and in Seychelles. It is under the control of Oscar Hilt Tatum IV, a Saint Kitts and Nevis citizen residing in the UAE. Moreover, Zenifinex recently applied for and is in the final stages of obtaining licenses from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and the Financial Services Authority Seychelles (FSA).

Chabbouh’s Vocational Past

Prior to relocating to his new role as CEO MENA in Dubai, Chabbouh served FXCM for almost nine years. His most recent position was Regional manager of the MENA territories. In this time, he made efforts to penetrate and grow business in the MENA markets, among other duties. He was elevated from his earlier role as the Business Development Manager of MENA. Over the course of a year, he was the project leader for the SEO, in charge of strategic partnerships, launched and implemented a successful Analyst program to increase equity. Before that, he was the Head of FXCM Arabic Research for almost four years, according to his LinkedIn profile.

At DailyFX, he became the Head of DailyFX Arabic. From August 2013 to November 2016, as part of his responsibilities, he fabricated DailyFX’s Arabic website from the outset. This required the creation and management of more than fifty pages.

In October 2011, he joined Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) in a project management position in the Fixed Income & Currencies COO office.

Additionally, HSBC Global Banking and Markets benefitted from his experience in the role of Operational Risk and Internal Control where he stayed for six months.

Earlier on, he served Master Trend Capital Advisors Off Shore, S.A.L. as a Financial Risk Analyst for a very short stint.

His earliest role was at Credit Suisse as a Private Banking Analyst Program.
