YouHodler, a Fintech platform that helps people access the benefits of the crypto economy, announced today that the company has appointed Igor Bannikov, former Senior Compliance Officer at UBP, a Switzerland-based bank, as the company’s new Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO).
According to an official press release, Bannikov will oversee compliance within all YouHodler's entities. The company highlighted that Bannikov will be a member of its management team. The newly appointed CRCO will collaborate with other team members to develop a comprehensive risk and compliance management framework.
Bannikov has over 10 years of experience in the Swiss banking sector. He holds master’s degrees in Finance and Law from leading Swiss Universities. He previously worked with UBS, one of the biggest retail banks in Switzerland.

Bannikov spent nearly 4 years at UBP and has a broad range of expertise related to compliance matters. “Before joining YouHodler, Igor served at different senior Risk and Compliance positions at Union Bancaire Privée (UBP), one of the largest private banks in Switzerland, UBS, the biggest retail bank in Switzerland as well as advised several other Swiss Banks on Risk and Compliance related topics. Among other things, he has been consulting in regulatory compliance, AML compliance, client due diligence, taxation and KYC-related matters. He also has experience in setting up a risk control and monitoring system,” the company mentioned.
