Vela Adds New Recruits to London and New York Offices
- The firm has welcomed two new additions - Cedric Rondeaux and Ryan Hsu.

Vela has expanded its team with new hires in London and New York, the company announced this week, by adding new members to its global Product and Account Management teams.
Vela is an independent provider of trading and market access technology. In particular, it makes multi-asset electronic trading solutions. On Wednesday, the firm revealed that it had welcomed two new additions - Cedric Rondeaux and Ryan Hsu.
Rondeaux is based in Vela’s London office and joins the company as the Product Manager, reporting to the Chief Product Officer, Ollie Cadman. Most recently, he was employed at ICE Data Services.
In his new role, Rondeaux will work as part of the global Product Management team. He will be in charge of setting the product strategy as well as managing the roadmap for the technology provider’s market data business.
Commenting on his new position, Rondeaux said in the statement: “I’m excited by the move to a financial technology firm and using my 15+ years of experience in market data to support Vela’s continued investment in this space.
“This role is an excellent opportunity for me to contribute my expertise in a culture that fosters innovation and collaboration in a fast-paced working environment. I am delighted to be joining such a well-established and respected leader like Vela.”
Joining the trading solution provider’s operations in New York is Ryan Hsu as an Account Manager. He will report to Keith Cacciola, Chief Customer Officer. Prior to joining vela, Hsu held roles at Starfuels, TP ICAP, and MF Global.

Rondeaux and Hsu aren’t the only new additions to Vela. In fact, the company has made a number of new hires in its Engineering, Client Services, and Corporate teams in the last three months in its operations across New York, Chicago, Belfast, and Manila.
