TradingScreen Inc., a provider of electronic trading solutions, has announced today that it has appointed Rishi K. Gupta as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and it has given its current Chief Strategy Officer, Varghese Thomas, the added role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Both of the professionals assume their new roles at TradingScreen with more than two decades worth of experience in the finance industry.

Gupta’s experience is in finance, accounting, and operating experience. His most recent position was the CFO of New Silk Route Partners, Ltd., a private equity firm. Here he helped scale the business across numerous geographies and deployed over a billion dollars in Asia.
Before this, Gupta was the CFO for Hotspot FX, an institutional foreign exchange trading platform. Throughout his career, Gupta has spearheaded initiatives that have had a great impact on the companies he was working for. Furthermore, he has enhanced the businesses through raising capital, structuring mergers and acquisitions, developing compliance programs, and improving profitability.

Thomas, on the other hand, has been with the liquidity provider since 2016. His strengths lie in global leadership, strategy, and business development experience in fintech organizations. Thomas has been preparing for his new role since December 2017, as he had undertaken a number of COO-related tasks before his official appointment. According to the statement, he will take on this new role while also continuing in his role as Chief Strategy Officer.
