Prop firm The5ers is undergoing a managerial shuffle as its Chief Executive Officer, Saul Lokier, has transitioned to the role of General Manager for LATAM, thus relocating to Mexico. He also held roles other than being the CEO. The company has yet to name the CEO replacement.
“Now, I couldn't be more excited to dive into one of the most vibrant, high-momentum regions in the world and lead our next wave of growth for the company,” Lokier wrote on LinkedIn.
Lokier joined The5ers at the beginning of 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile, as its CEO.
LATAM Is a Hot Market
The5ers is one of the well-established prop firms and has maintained a good reputation in the industry, where many players have exited over the last few years.

Similarweb shows that India remains the top market for The5ers in terms of traffic, bringing over 21 per cent of its web traffic to its homepage. The prop firm’s focus on the country is also prominent as it runs many local events and India-focused content.
Although Vietnam and the United States are its second- and third-largest markets, Brazil, a LATAM country, follows with more than 7 per cent of the total traffic.
The5ers’ focus on LATAM came when several CFD brokers were aggressively expanding in the region. Exness, Plus500, ATFX and several other big brands have established a presence in the region through local offices, with some even obtaining licences.

A New CEO Face?
Following Lokier’s move to Mexico, it remains unclear who would replace him as CEO of the prop firm's Israeli headquarters. It is to be noted that The5ers founder Gil Ben-Hur is also very much involved in the prop operations.
The founders of The5ers, meanwhile, even jumped to the brokerage space with Trade Set Go, a CFD broker. Initially holding a Cyprus licence, the broker recently gained a Seychelles licence as well.
