Jamie brings more than 16 years of experience in analyzing and trading on the foreign exchange markets. Saettele switched his core focus to markets analysis after he joined the research arm of FXCM, DailyFX.com, as a senior currency strategist and technical currency strategist. He was among 34 employees who were transferred to IG when the spread better bought DailyFX.com in 2016 for $40 million.
Jamie has also co-founded SB Trade Desk, a subscription analysis and trading service with commentary covering FX, commodities, and equity indices.
Saettele leads Scand.Ex analysis portal
In his new role at Scandinavian, he will help focus on augmenting the broker’s market information capabilities, specifically in relation to clients, while also generating a diverse blend of market reports, updates, and analyses for the company’s overall clientele. Moreover, he will also oversee market analysis and research for retail and institutional clients as well as financial media outlets.
As part of this appointment, Saettele will be joining Scandinavian Capital Markets’ team of financial analysts to further enrich the brand’s existing suite of resources, while leading the development of its new research and analysis portal, Scand.Ex.
