RBC Investor & Treasury Services, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), has hired Andy Allen as its new Managing Director in Singapore. Mr. Allen is expected to lead RBC’s Investor & Treasury Services with immediate effect.

Mr. Allen joins RBC Investor & Treasury Services from JP Morgan Investor Services and brings over 25 years experience in global banking. In a statement RBC said, “Andy brings comprehensive knowledge of the securities industry, risk management, the local operating and regulatory environment and relationship management of clients, both domiciled in Singapore and those looking for offshore solutions.”
Based in Singapore, Mr. Allen will report to Andrew Gordon, Managing Director (Asia) at RBC Investor & Treasury Services. Mr. Gordon commented on the move by saying: “Singapore is a leading market for UCITS fund distribution in Asia, a significant hub for wealth management and home to a number of sovereign wealth funds. Andy’s extensive experience in the industry together with his relationships in Asia will be invaluable in leading our business and client activity in this important market.”
