OANDA Appoints Kurt vom Scheidt as Chief Product Officer
- He joins the online trading firm after being an advisor to three firms; Chasing Returns, FX Prime AG and FairXchange.
OANDA, an online multi-asset trading provider, has a new Chief Product Officer (CPO) - Kurt vom Scheidt, the company announced this Tuesday.

Kurt vom Scheidt leaves Saxo for OANDA
Most recently, vom Scheidt was an advisor to three firms; Chasing Returns, FX Prime AG and FairXchange. As Finance Magnates reported, his collaboration with these firms was driven by a desire to instill some change in the wider foreign exchange trading world.
Prior to this, vom Scheidt spent the last 11 years at Saxo Bank, holding a number of roles during his time with the firm. His last role with the multi-asset broker was Executive Director, Global Head of Foreign Exchange.
He joined the firm in January of 2008 as the COO – Options and worked with the broker until December of last year.

From November of 1995 until March of 2001, vom Scheidt was employed at Deutsche Bank, where he held the role of Director - Head of Global Support, FX Technology /Global Head of Tactical Solutions, FX Options Tech.

In addition to his career experience, vom Scheidt holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University in New York and a BSc in Finance and Statistics from Syracuse University.
