Mizuho International has hired a former Credit Suisse executive, bringing in Richard Booth to its fixed income team. He joins the group as its newest Executive Director of Fixed Income e-sales/trading, according to Richard’s Linkedin profile.

Mr. Booth joins Mizuho from Credit Suisse, ending a five-year tenure, where he served as Director of Global Markets eTrading, whilst maintaining an emphasis on reporting, sales and marketing of fixed income products for the lender.
Additionally, prior to Credit Suisse, he held similar roles at Deutsche Bank as a Senior Interbank/eTrading Rate Sales and Marketing specialist, among other positions, dating back to 2003.
A 15-year industry veteran, Richard has also held senior electronic trading roles at Commerzbank AG from 2001 to 2003.
The move is the latest hire at Mizuho’s global financial web of units and subsidiaries, which over the past couple months has seen the launch of Mizuho Americas. The group recently hired Christopher Nam as its newest Managing Director and Head of Internet and Digital Media Investment Banking.
