Metapraxis Elevates Jacqueline de Rojas to Chair Its Board of Directors

Metapraxis announced on Tuesday that it has elevated Jacqueline de Rojas to Chair its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Finance Magnates recently discovered in a press release that Jacqueline de Rojas, CBE, a senior executive serving on the boards of many plc businesses, has been named Chair of the Board of Directors at Metapraxis, a financial Analytics technology business.

de Rojas brings extensive experience in the tech field. This along with her strategic mind and captivating leadership style is said to be an enormous asset to the corporation. She will work with the Metapraxis team to bolster and drive the expansion in Europe, the USA and Asia.

Currently, de Rojas is the President of both techUK and Digital Leaders. She is also the Co-Chair for the Institue of Coding. As a Non-Executive Director, she sits on the board of Rightmove, Costain Group and FDM Group PLC. Additionally, she is a business advisor, mentor, change agent and leader in the digital Fintech space.

A Look Back at Jacqueline de Rojas Vocation

Prior to the announcement, de Rojas served as the Chair at Digital Leaders for just over a year. Within that short time frame, she received a promotion to her current role as President in late 2018.

Before this, Bird & Co used her services as Business Mentor in April 2017. For under a year, she provided executive coaching and mentoring to enable long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.

At ao.com, she held the post of Non-Executive Director for almost two years, according to her LinkedIn profile.

While Sage recruited her for a short period as a Managing Director of UKI and Northern Europe in September 2016.

Citrix benefitted from her experience in July 2014 as its Area Vice President of Northern Europe. Located in London, she spent a little over two years fulfilling the criteria of the post.

Earlier in April 2013 at techUK , de Rojas became the Deputy President & Board Champion (Women in Technology). This stint lasted for just under two and a half years before receiving a promotion to President in July 2015.

Additionally, she previously held many other senior executive and board roles, including at Home Retail Group PLC, CA Technologies, Bazaarvoice, Clarify Solution Selling Ltd, McAfee, Novell, Cartesis, Business Objects, Informix/Ascential Software, Computer Associates, Legent and Synon.

A Pivotal and Exciting Time

Commenting on the press release, Simon Bittlestone, CEO of Metapraxis, said: “I am delighted that we have been able to persuade Jacqueline to join and lead our Board at this pivotal and exciting time for our business, following our recent investment round. Jacqueline’s deep experience in the technology sector, strategic mind and engaging leadership style will be enormous assets to us as we continue to expand. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing Chair, Nicole Anderson, for her excellent guidance over the last three years.”

“I am looking forward to working with the Metapraxis team to support and drive business expansion in Europe, the USA and Asia. The Metapraxis purpose “to empower good businesses with data-driven insight” is particularly relevant in managing risk and opportunity. The pandemic has highlighted the need for finance teams to adopt automation and analytics in order to support more effective planning and decision making. In this regard Metapraxis Empower technology is a game-changer,” Jacqueline de Rojas responds.
