Makor Expands Scope in Switzerland, Hires Sebastien Crouzet
- Crouzet joins the firm from Exoé where he worked in international business development.
Makor Capital Markets S.A, the representative office of Makor Securities, announced on Thursday that it has expanded the scope of its activities in Switzerland and as a result, has appointed Sebastien Crouzet to build its Cross-Asset Services Desk.
Crouzet has years of experience in trading and brokerage roles. He joins the firm from Exoé, a provider of services to asset managers, where he worked in international business development. He was employed with the company from December 2018 until August this year, and he was based in Geneva.

Before this, Crouzet was a trader at the bank Gonet & Cie SA for six years from 2010 until November 2016. In this role, he traded equities, derivatives, fixed income, Forex Forex Foreign exchange or forex is the act of converting one nation’s currency into another nation’s currency (that possesses a different currency); for example, the converting of British Pounds into US Dollars, and vice versa. Across his 17-year career, Crouzet has also been a trader at Hyposwiss Privatbank AG, CBH Europe Limited (Compagnie Bancaire Helvétique), an equity and contract-for-difference (CFD) trader as Synthesis Bank (now Saxo Bank) and a sales forex trade at Currencies4Less.
Crouzet has also worked as an Equity Derivatives Broker. His first time in this position was Quadra Derivatives in May 2004. At the firm, he was responsible for broker over-the-counter (OTC) options on indexes between international banks. He also maintained business relationships with his clients throughout Europe and organized entertainment events.
One year later in May 2005, Crouzet joined BGC Partners in the same role. Here he worked for less than a year up until December 2005 before joining Synthesis Bank. According to his LinkedIn, his responsibilities were very similar to those at Quadra Derivatives.
